New Day, New Song!
I can see this Song Of the Day thing getting old ^_^;
Canadian band Cowboy Junkies recorded this beautiful cover of the Grateful Dead song, "To Lay Me Down" for their album "Rarities, B Sides and Slow, Sad Waltzes". As always, Margot Timmins' haunting vocals complement the slow paced songs of the Junkies best. The slide/steel guitar duet is a real highlight.

Katamari on the Rocks
Ah, this song of the thing really saves me a lot of work. Instead of typing long posts, or making photos, I just plonk in an MP3 and away I go! Woohoo!
The song of today is called "Katamari on the Rocks" by a beatbox artist called Dokaka. It's a song (dare a say "the" song) of the PS2 game "We Love Katamari".
Dokaka is pretty amazing. I'm sure the lyrics are funny as hell as well, but I still didn't learn Japanese, so I'm out of luck there. Still, the song is good pretty fun its own right.

Song Of the Day
I put a music player on the site. (Thanks Kobuta for the idea ;)) I called it "Song of the Day", but of course it won't be updated everyday. I know me. Also, I'm looking for a way to put a linkable track/album name in there, that agrees with the space the players takes (which is too large for my taste). Oh well, it's a start.

The big move...

Because of the impending shuffle of desks at work, Spongebob had to move to another place (to my desk at home, which is about 50km from my desk at work). Moving big distances is troublesome, especially for little sponges, and Spongebob doesn't look happy at all. (Still wating for his shirt and trousers, probably)
(to be continued...)

Big Suckers
Last week, a team of Japanese scientists managed to photograph the first living Architeutis dux found in history. This is is famously elusive Giant Squid, which can grow longer than a staggering 13 meters! The one that was photographed was a small one of "only" 8 meters in length. All previous finds were animals that were washed ashore after death. Awesome!
